12,000 Kilometers. 20 Countries. One Man Walking for the Earth.
Jaydip Lakhankiya is walking from Malta to India to show that climate change is not a distant problem. It is already changing how people live, eat, farm, and survive.
He is a farmer's son from Gujarat. He walks because he believes what Gandhi showed - that walking can move people in ways words cannot.

Why Jaydip Is Walking
Jaydip is not doing this for comfort, fame, or adventure content. He is walking because climate change is already affecting real people - especially farmers, poor communities, and future generations.
Growing up close to farming in Gujarat, he saw how quickly one season, one storm, one failed crop, or one weather event can change a family's life.
Later, after traveling across India and learning more deeply about climate change in Europe, he decided that awareness alone was not enough. He chose walking because walking forces human connection. It slows the world down long enough for people to listen.

Mobility and Load
Jaydip is walking long distances every day and needs proper mobility and load support. This includes a serious walking cart system and better carrying solutions.
Partner on thisFootwear and Clothing
Long-distance walking demands repeated footwear and weather-ready clothing support.
Partner on thisPower and Communication
Documenting the mission and staying reachable depends on power and connectivity.
Partner on thisWho Is Jaydip?
Jaydip Lakhankiya is from Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He began his journey through traditional studies, later shifted into tourism and travel, and eventually transformed through long solo travel across India. During the pandemic years, he walked and hitchhiked across India for 182 days with almost no money, learning directly from the people, places, and struggles around him.
He trained as a trekking instructor, worked with NGOs, became a kayaking instructor, pursued further adventure training, and later came to Europe. The Climate Walker mission is the next step in that journey.
The story has to stay close to the road.
Jaydip is not asking people to admire a stunt. He is asking them to look at what climate change does to ordinary families, farmers, workers, and children who inherit the damage.
Proof, Experience, and Recognition
The mission is grounded in lived travel, outdoor leadership, cleanup action, and public coverage.
