Jaydip Lakhankiya is a farmer's son from Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India, walking roughly 12,000 km from Malta to India across around 20 countries. His mission is to make climate change visible as a human issue affecting farmers, poor communities, and future generations.
Jaydip is not walking for fame, tourism, or leisure. He walks because he believes walking creates the conversations that faster travel cannot. Along the road he collects waste, speaks with communities, and documents a public act of responsibility.
"I walk because climate change is already changing people's lives."
"When you walk, you meet people. That is how the message moves."
"One ordinary person can still act."
