Biography

Short biography

Jaydip Lakhankiya is a Gujarati farmer's son from Bhavnagar, India. After long solo travel across India, outdoor leadership training, NGO-related work, and climate learning in Europe, he began The Climate Walker mission: a roughly 12,000 km walk from Malta to India to make climate change visible as a human issue.

His walk is not for leisure, fame, or influencer content. It is a public act of responsibility. Jaydip believes walking creates conversations that faster travel cannot. Along the route, he collects waste, speaks with communities, documents the road, and invites people to act from where they are.
